Meth Medura Foundation

Meth Medura Foundation originated in 1975 from a flash of inspiration that said: House, there shall be a House. This first flash encouraged some people to experiment with new ways of community building to heal the disintegration in society and the alarming feelings of isolation. In order to find ways to work with these questions Meth Medura had to look beyond the existing approaches. The gap between personal growth, community problems and political issues was deep. Meth Medura found unexpected ways to bridge that gap.

Her combination of mythical theater, nonviolence, conflict resolution, personal growth and meditation was unusual and awakened a dormant awareness and enthusiasm. For 20 years Meth Medura was located in a small monastery in the center of Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
From 1979-1994 Meth Medura offered a safe place to refugees from all over the world. At the moment Meth Medura's activities are focused at sharing her insights by teaching her methodology in various countries.

Over the last 25 years Meth Medura developed Pansori, an integrated approach to re-connect people to each other and their culture. She also offers programs to teach the art of healing. The experience of practical work in different layers of society has made clear that communal health and personal wellbeing are intimately linked.

Meth Medura is a Sanskrit word and means place of compassion.
